"FrameWerk is being called the sound that excites the soul. Mixed with original selections, soothing ballads, and funk that will get you on your feet, it's a journey that will spur a series of emotions and memories."

Spoon - "El Warren Weatherspoon aka “Spoon” - Drums, Percussion, Band Leader Nationally known for many years as the drummer for the legendary R&B group “Heatwave” (best known for such hits as “Always and Forever”, “Boogie Nights “and “Groove Line” , among many others), Heatwave’s highlights include three gold, two platinum and two double platinum albums, five gold singles, four Grammy nominations and a recent nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Serving as the catalyst for FrameWerk, Spoon brings his experiences performing with Carlos Santana, Hall and Oates, The Jones Girls and Jean Carn, along with that driving, funky groove to combine with one of the most talented core of musicians ever to be assembled in one unit."

Paul - "Paul Anthony Bumbry - Keyboards, Vocals, Writer
Paul’s formal training includes keyboards and trumpet, and vocals.  A fixture in the local music industry for over thirty (30) years, he maintains an established reputation for high quality live and studio performances. Experience as a musical director and composer, along with his attention to detail make Paul’s contribution to FrameWerk the perfect fit."

Angie - "Angela Walker - Piano, Keyboards, Vocals, Writer/Arranger
Angela Walker is a classically trained southerner with deep roots in gospel and musical theater, directing from the church choir level to college and community choirs. Angie began taking piano lessons when she was six years old and has been performing for audiences since she was nine. In junior high she started playing trombone (she says she couldn’t push a piano down the football field with the band!), and still performs with a local R&B band as lead vocalist and trombonist.  As vocalist, Angie has performed in shows and festivals all over the world with groups like the P-Funk Allstars, Maceo Parker, Prince (hey it was one time, but it counts!) among others. Her musical influences include Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Larry Dunn and Donald Fagan. She is the keyboardist for PowerGlide and for The Fonics, musical director for The Intruders, and MD’s other acts like Blue Magic and Force MD’s."

Sonja - "Sonja Chichester - Vocalist Washington-born and raised jazz, R&B and soul singer Sonja embarked on a singing career at an early age. Sonja’s roots were as a gospel singer in the church choir, but she quickly moved to sharing the stage with Patti Labelle and opening for such artists as Phil Perry, Sinbad, Angela Boyfill, SOS Band, just to name a few. Sonja had a major role in the traveling company of the hit play “Choir Rehearsal”."

Tony - "Tony Contee - Guitar, Vocals - Tony started playing professionally at the age of thirteen with DC artist Skip Mahoney and the Casuals and has never looked back. After appearing on stage in clubs and venues that he says he probably couldn’t get in to by the front door (14!!!), Tony returned to the DC area and performed with various local groups until again heading out on tour with Eddie Kendricks at the ripe old age of 16 years old! Guitarist for Heatwave, Tony’s experience also includes world-wide tours with pioneering go-go group “Trouble Funk”, Jean Carne, Father’s Children and The Fonics."

KC - "Calvin Clifton aka KC - Bass Guitar, Bass Synthesizers and Pedals, Vocals, Writer/Arranger KC is a Baltimore, Maryland native. He started playing trumpet in elementary school, but after watching Paul McCartney sing and play bass, he was hooked. KC started performing with his family band, the Plus Band when he was 19, and has been on the local and national music scene since. Local bands KC has started and performed with include KASH (formerly Black Myca), Chocolate Rain, MadHouse, Sumor and PowerGlide, and he’s been involved with several Jimi Wilkes projects. Professionally, he is the bassist for The Intruders and has performed with/opened for Blue Magic, Gerald Levert, Chicago, The Escorts, The Whispers, The Phonics, and New Era, to name a few."
